Weekend crash kills pregnant woman in Ravenna

RAVENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – An expectant mother from Ravenna is dead Tuesday after she and another person were hit by a car over the weekend.

Police say 34-year-old Keanyanna Marsh died after being taken to the hospital, while 35-year-old Herbert Stacey suffered minor injuries from the accident. Police were not sure how advanced Marsh’s pregnancy was.

The crash happened just after 8:30 Saturday night while the two were crossing West Main Street at Oakwood in the city.

So far, no charges have been filed against the driver, who is 20 and from Ravenna, according to a release.

Witnesses said that visibility was poor Saturday due to rain.
