Networking alliance forms for hospitality businesses

The owner of O'Donald's and Suzie's Dogs and Drafts talks about the Mahoning Valley Hospitality Alliance.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Restaurant owners and hotel operators have formed a new networking organization to help them find quality employees.

The Mahoning Valley Hospitality Alliance is planning seminars to educate people about the restaurant business.

Christian Rinehart, owner of O’Donald’s and Suzie’s Dogs and Drafts, is part of the Alliance along with other businesses such as Branch Street Coffee Roasters, Michael Alberini’s and Kravitz Deli.

“We’re trying to educate employees…so that owners and managers of organizations can see who’s actively wanting to learn more and find better, passionate employees that can give better experiences,” Rinehart said.

The first seminar is being planned for late January and will be on coffee.
