Ursuline’s Parella scores 1,000 in win over North East

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Ursuline’s Greg Parella scored his 1,000th point in the Irish’s 74-51 win this afternoon over North East. Parella scored 32 while Mike Hughes added 10 and Armand Nasseri tallied 8. Devin Harden also had 7 (12 rebounds).

After trailing 14-13 after the first quarter, Ursuline outscored North East 61-37 over the last three frames.

For the Grape Pickers, Nathan Mayes led the team with 22. Garrett Owen posted 9 points also.

On Tuesday, North East will welcome Northwestern. Ursuline will travel to Lake Catholic on Tuesday.
