NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – Police in New Castle are investigating two separate stabbings in the city
Police were called about 2:45 a.m. Sunday to 265 Halco Drive. When officers arrived, they found a victim who was stabbed three times in the stomach.
The suspect, Lloyd Johnson, ran from the house but was arrested a short time later at a home on Grant Street, according to police.
Johnson is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
The condition of the victim was not known.
Later that morning at about 6:15 a.m., police were called to 733 Main Street. When officers arrived, they found a victim also with stab wounds to his stomach.
The victim told police he got into a fight with Brandon Mulhem over money and Mulhem stabbed him.
Mulhem left the scene but was arrested at a home on Worthington Avenue. He is charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and prohibited offensive weapons.
