Road work coming to I-76, I-80 in Austintown, Jackson, Milton

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio Department of Transportation announced plans Monday to make improvements in to Interstate Routes 76 and 80 in Austintown, Jackson and Milton Townships.

The project, scheduled to begin in the fall of 2016, proposes to resurface approximately 6 miles of I-76 from the Mahoning County line to the IR 76/Bailey Road interchange.  Additionally, minor maintenance is proposed for fourteen bridges along IR 76 and 80.

The estimated construction cost is approximately $3,600,000.
