CFOC 2016 Scholarship Winner Courtney Frommelt

Thank you to all the juniors and seniors across the Valley who entered the 2016 Caring for Our Community Tom Holden Memorial Scholarship Contest.  This year we had more than 225 entries from students in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Mercer counties.

Congratulations to this year’s winning students, schools and organizations:

First Place:
Courtney Frommelt – Cardinal Mooney High School
Big Brothers Big Sisters

First Runner-Up:
Amanda Mazyck – Howland High School
The American Cancer Society

Second Runner-Up:
Elijah Conger – Grove City High School
Community Counseling Center of Mercer County

Third Runner-Up:
Alec Cole – Trumbull Career and Technical Center
Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County

Fourth Runner-Up:
Seth Monroe – Trumbull Career and Technical Center
Potential Development

Fifth Runner-Up:
Brynn Pennell – Columbiana High School
Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley

All winners were recognized at a scholarship banquet on March 11 and will be featured in commercials that will be shown on WKBN 27.  You can check back here to see the winner’s commercials and pictures of the award banquet.
