COLUMBIANA CO., Ohio (WKBN) – Columbiana County Emergency Management Agency Director Luke Newbold will join his brother, Adam Newbold, as an executive member of the staff at ATG Worldwide.

Luke Newbold announced his departure from Columbiana County EMA on December 30. A U.S. Navy Seal, Newbold has been working for the county for the past three years.

“Though I enjoyed, and felt privileged, working for the county, I’m used to moving faster, unrestricted by bureaucracy. This is what I do, it’s what I’ve done, and I do it well. I’m ecstatic to finally come aboard ATG in an official capacity. The opportunity to continue serving my country at such a high level is exciting. I recognize the exceptional team atmosphere at ATG, something all SEALs are familiar with, but something uncommon outside the Special Warfare Community,” he said in a statement from the company.

Based out of Lisbon, ATG is a tactical training company which trains Special Operations Forces in advanced tactics.
