YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man remains in critical condition following a shooting late last night on the city’s east side.

Police say 35-year-old Miguel Rodriguez showed up last night at a house in the 1300 block of Landsdowne Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Thursday with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Family members told officers the victim said he had been shot at his girlfriend’s house, but none of the relatives knew where the woman lived. Police say a relative of Rodriguez’s lived at the Landsdowne home.

Police are still investigating the case to pinpoint exactly where the man was shot and who shot him.

He remains at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, where he was taken following the reported shooting.
