“Flat Stanley” visits WKBN studio

"Flat Stanley" came to WKBN from Miss Patton's second grade class at Horizon Science Academy.
WKBN Morning Anchor Lauren Wood took "Flat Stanley" back to his home at Horizon Science Academy in Youngstown, after he spent the past week at the studio with reporters.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – 27 First News has had a special visitor at our station over the past few weeks.

“Flat Stanley” came to WKBN from Miss Patton’s second grade class at Horizon Science Academy. The students mailed him to 27 First News Morning Anchor Lauren Wood.

He spent time with reporters, producers, meteorologists and even on the anchor desk with us for First News at 6 p.m. last week.

On Monday, Lauren took Stanley back to Horizon and shared his adventures in a scrapbook with the class.
