Canfield girls stay unbeaten in AAC play

Canfield's Serena Sammarone scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Cardinals to a 45-29 win over Warren Harding Wednesday night.

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Canfield topped Warren Harding 45-29 Wednesday night in girls high school basketball action.

Serena Sammarone led the Cardinals with a game-high 14 points.  Brittany Coonce also reached double-figures with 10 in the victory.

Warren Harding placed one player in double-figures, with Shymara Dykes finishing with 10 in the setback for the Raiders.

Canfield improves to 11-3 overall on the season.  The Cardinals remain unbeaten in AAC play with a record of 7-0.

The Cardinals return to action this Saturday at home against Lakeside.
