Springfield has won seven straight meetings with the Raiders…The last time South Range defeated the Tigers was on January 20, 2012 (55-54). Last year, Graham Mincher scored 48 points in his two matchups with South Range (24.0 ppg)

At South Range, the Tigers held off the Raiders second half rally behind Graham Mincher’s 27 points to continue their unbeaten streak (47-42).

Springfield’s ITCL powerhouse
The Tigers have won the last four ITCL Upper Tier championships. Since the league was formed in 2006, Springfield has yet to finish a conference season with a losing record. They’ve been able to record 6 of their first 9 years in the ITCL with 11 wins or more in league play.

South Range turnaround
From the 4-19 (3-11) finish in 2013-14, the Raiders increased their win total by 11 overall (15-9) and 7 in the Upper Tier (10-4). South Range has finished with 10 wins or more in the league in three of the last five seasons. The Raiders have yet to win a league championship in the ITCL.

South Range has split their four road contests this season. However, the Raiders have posted ten wins in their last eleven tilts overall.

Springfield brings a 3-1 home record with their lone loss being to Wellsville on December 8 (64-45). The Tigers have won four consecutive matchups overall.

Playoff Matchup?
Both schools are scheduled to be a part of the Division III Salem District once again. Could we see another post-season matchup between the Tigers and the Raiders?
