WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren woman said armed men stole $25,000 from her after forcing their way into her home.
According to the Tribune Chronicle, the woman told police someone knocked on the door of her Dana St. N.E. home about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday saying they were with Ohio Edison.
When she answered the door, the gunmen forced her to the ground and one of the intruders held a gun to her head and forced her to open an upstairs safe where she kept money and prescription medication, according to a police report.
The woman said the men appeared to be in their 20s or 30s.
City detectives are investigating the report. No arrests have been made.
