3 more plead guilty in drug, gun case in central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – The government says three more men have pleaded guilty in an investigation into gang-related violence in central Ohio.

The three are accused of being members of the Short North Posse, a gang with 2-decade-old roots in and around Columbus.

State and federal authorities announced Saturday that 30-year-old Allen L. Wright pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in aid of racketeering, which could result in life in prison or the death penalty.

Wright, 30-year-old Tysin L. Gordon and 29-year-old Freddie K. Johnson also pleaded guilty to one count each of racketeering and conspiracy, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

All three men are from Columbus, where pleas were entered in federal court Friday. In all, 20 people have been indicted in the case.
