Jackson-Milton moves to 6-0 in ITCL Blue Tier

The Blue Jays used a quick start to fend off Western Reserve, 43-34 Thursday.

North Jackson, OH (WKBN) – The Jackson-Milton girls basketball team used a strong start to defeat Western Reserve, 43-34 Thursday at Jackson-Milton High School.

The Blue Jays jumped on top early with good play on both sides of the ball. They led 20-8 at halftime, and continued to apply pressure in the second half to polish off the 9 point victory.

Jackson Milton improves to 6-0 in the ITCL Blue Tier and 15-2 overall. The Blue Jays were led by Michaelina Terranova with 14 points, while Kaitlyn Totani and Emily Williams each added 9.

Western Reserve was led by Sydney Miller with a team-high 13 points, along with 3 assists. Up next, the Blue Devils face Crestview Saturday at the Covelli Centre at 6:45 p.m.
