Mother indicted on charges that she attacked a Warren City Schools principal

Julie Crenshaw was charged with felonious assault and criminal trespassing after the district reported that she attacked a McGuffey Elementary School principal.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman who police say assaulted a Warren City Schools principal has been indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury on an assault charge.

School officials said Julie Crenshaw entered her child’s classroom at McGuffey Elementary School without permission and then hit the principal when confronted.

The alleged attack occurred in late October, and police issued a warrant for Crenshaw’s arrest when she didn’t appear for a scheduled court hearing.

Crenshaw is banned from school property due to the incident.
