Youngstown man facing charges in Campbell high-speed police chase

Police say a Youngstown man is in trouble for leading them on a high-speed chase Thursday afternoon. Franklin Fleming, Jr. faces several charges, including fleeing from police and driving with a suspended license.

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Police say a Youngstown man is in trouble for leading them on a high-speed chase Thursday afternoon.

Franklin Fleming, Jr. faces several charges, including fleeing from police and driving with a suspended license.

Police said officers tried to pull him over on McCartney Road for expired plates, when he took off through several residential neighborhoods in speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour.

Fleming is due in Campbell Municipal Court on Friday morning.
