Trinity pulls away in 4th to drop JFK

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WKBN) – Despite a game-high 21 points from Justin Bofenkamp, JFK fell to Trinity 52-38 in a North Coast League tilt.

The Eagles trailed by four at the half (26-22) following a 16-13 advantage in the second quarter for JFK. However, Trinity put the game away in the final frame by outscoring the Eagles by a 19-10 margin.

The Trojans were led by Matt Trent, who scored 17. Kyle McSweeney added 8 while Ethan Filippi and Joe LeSueur scored 7 each.

For the Eagles, Antonio McQueen had 8 while Terrance King scored 7.

Trinity, who improved to 8-6 overall (3-2 in White Tier), will travel to Lutheran West tomorrow. Warren JFK (4-9, 1-3) will meet West Middlesex at the Covelli Centre tomorrow.
