Supporters march in Boardman for Bernie Sanders

Supporters of Bernie Sanders gather in Boardman for a political march.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – With the first primary caucus rapidly approaching, Bernie Sanders supporters came together on Saturday for a political march.

The group met in Boardman, marching down 224 and around the Southern Park Mall.

Their goal was to bring as many Sanders supporters as possible from around the nation together, to spread his message for a political revolution.

The Boardman march was just one of several for the Democratic contender, taking place Saturday throughout the country.

“The primary is about to begin in this coming week. Iowa, New Hampshire are coming up really soon, so we want people all over the country to see some visible support for Bernie to get some momentum moving,” said Anne Garwig, Convention Delegate for Bernie Sanders.

The primaries will begin on February 1st.
