Fitch boys upset Poland

Austintown Fitch went on the road and upset Poland Tuesday night, handing the Bulldogs their 2nd loss of the season.

POLAND, OH (WKBN)-Austintown Fitch handed Poland just their 2nd loss of the season Tuesday night getting the upset on the road 53-41.

Poland struggled from the field early in the game but Jacob Burns kept the Bulldogs close knocking down a pair of triples.

Fitch was helped by three players in double-figures led by Derek Gunter who had 15 while Anthony Pangio had 14 and Dominic Difrancesco chipped in 10.

Poland was ranked 11th in Division II in the latest statewide AP Poll that was released Monday. They fall to 13-2 with the loss.

The Falcons improve to 8-6 overall with the win.
