Trumbull Co. Democrats meet in preparation of primary election

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – In downtown Warren, candidates endorsed by the Trumbull County Democratic Party met in preparation for the March primary.

They were all selected by the party’s precinct committee. And since a presidential election is approaching — and statistically more people turn out to vote during those election years — the party-endorsed candidates wanted to show voters their line-up.

“We have a good, good team here coming into March presidential [election]. It’s going to be a good year, you know, fighting for the working class, and we have a lot of good candidates here today,” said Trumbull County Democratic Party Chairman Dan Polivka.

The primary election in Ohio is scheduled for March 15.
