Milk from New Castle creamery recalled

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has recalled whole milk bottled by Pasture Maid Creamery, LLC out of New Castle.

The milk affected has a best buy date of February 5th, 2016, and was sold in half gallon glass bottles and one pint plastic bottles. It was sold in retail stores and on the farm.

A sample of the milk showed it did not meet pasteurization requirements. The Department of Agriculture says no other products from the creamery were affected.

Consumers who purchased the whole milk should discard it. For more information, visit the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s website.
