YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police in Youngstown are looking for a woman who witnesses say was pulled into a vehicle against her will.
Police were called about 9:15 p.m. Sunday to a home on W. Dennick Ave. where a witness said her friend was pulled inside an SUV against her will and the vehicle sped off.
The witness said the woman was visiting her home when a man police named as Christopher Garrett, 27, of Youngstown, showed up and wanted to talk with the woman, saying he had her purse, according to a police report.
When the woman approached the SUV to talk with Garrett, who was seated in the backseat, police say he reached out and pulled the woman into the vehicle. The driver, who was not identified, sped away.
Police continue to look for the suspect and the woman.
