Warrant issued in Pa. for Boardman man accused in jewelry theft

The stolen jewelry was sold and tracked down to the suspect

Randell Weaver is wanted in connection to a jewelry theft in Pennsylvania.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – A Boardman man is wanted in connection to a $9,000 jewelry theft.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a Boardman woman was storing 20 rings, valued at $9,000, at an acquaintance’s houses in Little Beaver Township. Police say on Dec. 20, 2014 Randell Edward Weaver, 53, took the rings and sold them at a Boardman jewelry store for $1,100.

Weaver is charged with felony theft and receiving stolen property. He has not been located, but police say he may have ties to Hubbard and Enon Valley, Pa. Police are asking anyone with information on Weaver’s whereabouts to call police at (724) 598-2211.
