Wanted New Castle man on the run for months, now jailed

20-year-old Shaquone Lockett is charged with attempted homicide.

NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – A New Castle man wanted for several violent crimes has been arrested.

New Castle police say 20-year-old Shaquone Lockett might have been involved in a shooting and robbery attempt in October. He was on the run for the last few months.

The victim told investigators Lockett robbed him, shot him in the face, then drove away through some yards in the residential area.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located him near Ellwood City. He is facing charges of attempted homicide, robbery, and aggravated assault.
