NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – New Castle’s Pat Minenok officially signed a National Letter of Intent to play college football at Slippery Rock. He is expected to play linebacker for The Rock.
Minenok was a First-team All-Conference performer at both quarterback and defensive back.
He led the county with 1,876 yards, and was also the country’s defensive most valuable player.
Head Coach Shawn Lutz is thrilled to add Minenok to the program.
“Patrick is a versatile and cerebral player who will add great athleticism to out linebacking corps,” Lutz said on Slippery Rock’s official website. “He understands the game, plays with great emotion and is highly aggressive. He will fit in right away with the Rock linebackers.”
