Police say Davison dragged Sgt. Jeff Greene for about 50 feet after Greene stopped him about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Route 225 in Atwater.

Authorities say Greene was talking to Davison when he started the engine of his vehicle and pulled away, dragging Greene. The patrol says Greene returned to his patrol vehicle and pursued the car about six miles before ending the chase.

Authorities say Greene was treated and released for minor injuries and an arrest warrant was issued for the driver.
