WINDSOR, Ohio (WKBN) – Firefighters in southern Ashtabula County worked Sunday to contain a fire at a home in Windsor.

Crews were called to the home on Hudson Road Sunday evening. When they arrived, smoke and flames were coming from the roof.

Crews quickly attacked the fire, which was contained to the attic.

Firefighters said access to the fire was difficult because of the plaster ceiling construction, which was layered with drywall.

The home sustained extensive damage. No injuries were reported.

Windsor is about 10 miles north of West Farmington.

The cause is under investigation.
