Amber alert cancelled for 3 missing central Ohio children

Police are on the lookout for a grey 2011 Kia Soul with license plate FZH3275

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – An Amber Alert issued by the Lawrence Township Police Department for counties in east central Ohio including Stark, Summit and Portage counties has been cancelled.

Police say three male children, ages 12, 10 and 6 were last seen with their mother, 38-year-old Tara Rooks. An email from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office stated that the alert had been cancelled but did not give other details.

Police were on the lookout for a grey 2011 Kia Soul with license plate FZH3275.

According to the Amber Alert, Rooks had attempted suicide in the past and made threats of suicide at or near a residence on Butterridge Road in Canal Fulton.

Rooks is described as a white female, 5′ 3″ tall, 175 lbs, blonde hair and brown eyes.

Pictures of the suspect and children have not been provided yet.
