GROVE CITY, PA (WKBN)-Geroge Junior stormed back after being down double-digits early but in the end were unable to get by rival Grove City Tuesday night, falling to the Eagles 63-61.
After George Junior led 12-11 after the first quarter, Grove City had a huge 2nd quarter outscoring the Tigers 22-12 in the quarter.
But in the second half George Junior stormed back using a 15-3 run to tie the game at 43 but were unable to overtake GC down the stretch.
Brendan Record led the way for the Eagles with 18 points while Kameron Patterson added 15 and Kaiden Young chipped in 14. They improve to 15-6 overall and 10-5 in region play.
Odell Heler led the way for George Junior with 14 while Tevin Smith had 13. The Tigers drop to 10-11 overall and 8-7 in the region.
