High school student arrested in shooting of Kent State student

Police said the 17-year-old suspect will be charged with delinquency by aggravated murder.

A Kent State University students was shot in killed in Kent, Ohio.

KENT, Ohio (WKBN) – Police say a 17-year-old Stow High School student has been arrested in the shooting death of a Kent State University student.

According to WJW Fox 8, police identified the victim as Nicholas Massa, 18, of Westlake. He was a student at Kent State.

Police said the 17-year-old suspect will be charged with delinquency by aggravated murder.

Police were called the Ryan Place apartments on East Main Street at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found Massa dead inside an apartment on the third floor.
