Hunter leads Fitch past Boardman

The Falcons improve to 14-8 overall on the season.

Fitch's Sabria Hunter tallied 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks in the Falcons' 58-49 win over Boardman.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Austintown Fitch held off Boardman 58-49 in girls’ high school basketball action Wednesday night.

Allexis Sallee led the Falcons with 20 points and 7 rebounds.  Sabria Hunter barely missed a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 blocks.  Camryn Constance also reached double-figures with 10 in the win.

The Spartans were led by Jenna Vivo who tallied a team-high 17 points.  Lauren Gabriel added 16 points, while Krista Johnson finished with 13.

Fitch improves to 14-8 overall on the season.  The Falcons return to action at Sectionals Thursday February 18th at 7PM against the winner of Kent Roosevelt/Akron North.

Boardman drops to 13-9 overall.  The Spartans will host Warren Harding in the Sectional Championship Thursday February 18th at 7PM.
