YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man went to the county jail following a traffic stop on the south side. That’s because drugs were found in his vehicle.
Police say D’Andre Parker, 29, was pulled over for a traffic violation near the corner of South and Florida Avenues on Wednesday afternoon. When officers approached the vehicle to talk to Parker, they detected the odor of marijuana.
After searching the car they found about 200 narcotic pills, 37 bindles of heroin and nearly $2,000 in cash.
A few of the charges Parker faces include possession of heroin and drug abuse.
Parker was also wanted on some previous traffic violations.
