YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A big crowd piled into East High School on Saturday for Sincerely, Youngstown.

The SPEAK Project, which was referred to as a Love Letter to the City of Youngstown, hosted the night of concerts that included music from Youngstown natives.

Organizers say they want to promote local businesses and celebrate the positive things going on in the city.

“There’s still a lot of love in the city of Youngstown. There are still a lot of people that love where they come from, proud of where they come from, and just here to represent and show that support to the community,” Tanisha Franklin said.

The night ended with concerts in the high school’s auditorium, headlined by local performers Janis Jones and Joselyn Parker.
