Howland, OH (WKBN) – Senior Tori Rappach scored a game-high 23 points and hit 7 three pointers as Howland routed Hubbard, 81-46 in a Division 2 Sectional Saturday.
The game also served as Senior Day for the Tigers, after their game against Geneva was snowed out Wednesday. They plan to make that up next Monday if weather permits.
Howland wasted little time against the Eagles, starting the game on a 10-0 run and not looking back. Sara Price added 18 points, while Kendyl Buckley added 12 and Samarra Caffey 10.
Marissa Grande led Hubbard with 22 points. Athena Smith had 11 points, while Logan Nitche chipped in 10.
Howland improves to 17-5 and will host Salem next Thursday at 7 PM. Hubbard finishes the season with a 3-19 overall record.
