YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals have arrested a suspect in last week’s bank robbery in Boardman.
Craig Candiotti is accused of robbing the Citizens Bank on state Route 224 and South Avenue last Thursday. Investigators say he passed the teller a note demanding money and said he had a gun, although no weapon was shown.
After the robbery, he left in a vehicle parked in the Longhorn Steakhouse parking lot, police said.
Candiotti was arrested late Tuesday afternoon at a home on Ambert Avenue in the Brownlee Woods neighborhood in Youngstown.
He was charged with aggravated robbery.
