Valley Christian girls tops Heartland

India and Imane Snyder both outscored Heartland Christian this evening.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Valley Christian opened the post-season with a 49-11 victory over Heartland Christian. The Lady Eagles began the game with a 24-0 lead after the first quarter and up 37-4 at halftime.

Imane Snyder led the team with 15 points as India Snyder had 14, including the lone three-pointer in the game. Daisjha Parks added 9 for Valley Christian.

Heartland was led by Avery Pennington’s 6 points.

The 3rd seeded Valley Christian (13-7) will face the 4th seed Western Reserve on Saturday at 1 pm in the Mineral Ridge District Sectional Final in Youngstown.
