Farrell Boys cruise past Youngsville

The Steelers advance to face Erie First Christian in the District 10 Class A Semifinals Tuesday night.

SHARON, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – The Farrell Boys Boys Basketball team cruised past Youngsville 69-13 in the District 10 Class A Quarterfinals Thursday night at Sharon High School.

Malike Miller led the Steelers with 16 points, and is now has 1,492 career points…23 shy of the school record.

Terrance Holloway and Kyi Wright each tallied 9 points in the victory for the Steelers.

The win marked career victory number 241 for Farrell Head Coach Roland Shannonhouse, breaking the tie for tenth place in Mercer County history with Renzie Hoffman.

Farrell improves to 18-5 on the season, and advances to face Erie First Christian in the District 10 Class A Semifinals Tuesday night.
