YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown fire investigators think an electrical problem is to blame for a house fire on the west side early Thursday morning.

The problem area was in the basement of the Glen Oaks Drive home. The investigation into the cause continues.

Family members and most of the household pets got out of the home safely, but one small dog was missing. The family stayed elsewhere for the rest of the night.

Damage to the house is termed “moderate”.
