Youngstown police: Woman fumbles with cell phone GPS, hits county truck

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

A woman checking her GPS runs into the back of a Mahoning County dump truck in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman was injured Friday morning after colliding with a Mahoning County dump truck.

The accident happened about 9:45 a.m. on Meridian Road, near the USA Gas Mart.

The woman drove her Chevrolet Monte Carlo into the back of the truck. She was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.

Youngstown police said the woman will be cited for entering information on her cell phone GPS while driving.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
