GOP presidential hopeful John Kasich stumping in New England

BOSTON (AP) – GOP presidential hopeful John Kasich is heading north to spend the day campaigning in New England amid South Carolina’s Republican primary.

The Ohio governor is set to appear at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at a town hall event at Colchester High School in Colchester, Vermont – Democrat Bernie Sanders’s home state.

Kasich then heads to Massachusetts for a 2:30 p.m. town hall event in Worcester at the Hibernian Cultural Centre.

Kasich will finish the day by hosting a 6:30 p.m. party at the Four Points by Sheraton Wakefield Boston Hotel in Wakefield to watch the results come in from South Carolina.

Kasich finished second in the New Hampshire Republican primary behind Donald Trump.
