Ohio police say 5 teens arrested in 15-year-old boy’s death

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Police in central Ohio say five teens have been arrested on murder charges in the fatal drive-by shooting of a 15-year-old boy.

Columbus police arrested a 15-year-old boy on a murder charge within hours after the Feb. 12 shooting. They released reports early Saturday showing that four more male teens have since been arrested on murder and felonious assault charges.

Police say Kaleb White was shot by someone in a passing vehicle as he was walking near an intersection. He died soon afterward at a hospital.

Detectives are still investigating and police say the motive for the shooting isn’t known at this point.
