AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – After seven seasons on the job, Stacie Cepin is stepping down as Austintown Fitch Girls Basketball Coach.
Cepin made the announcement now, in order to allow ample time to find a successor.
“Over the past seven years I have seen several girls go through this program and grow to be successful young women,” Cepin said. “I would like to thank all of those who have given me the opportunity to coach here at Austintown Fitch. The experience has left me with long-lasting memories in which I will always cherish,” she added.
Cepin posted an overall record of 94-60 at Fitch, including six straight winning seasons. She led the Falcons to an All-American Conference title in 2014, which was the program’s first conference championship in twenty years. That year, the Falcons amassed a record of 21-2, which amounted to the best winning percentage in school history.
