Three people taken to hospital after Market Street crash

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Monday on Market Street

A motorcyclist struck a car on Market Street in Boardman.


BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Three people were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital after an accident between a car and a motorcycle.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. A motorcyclist struck a car on Market Street in Boardman.

State Highway Patrol Sgt. Eric Brown said the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Monday. A 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix was pulling out of O’Reilly Auto Parts on Market Street when it was struck by a 1998 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle driving northbound, Brown said.

The motorcyclist, identified as 32-year-old Angelo Rosario, was ejected. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to Highway Patrol.

The 16-year-old driver of the Grand Prix and her passenger were uninjured, Highway Patrol said.
