Farrell bests Erie First Christian

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA (WKBN)-Farrell punched their ticket to the Class “A” District 10 championship game after topping Erie First Christian 56-39 Tuesday night.

It was a tight first quarter between the two teams that saw the Steelers lead by just 3. But Farrell outscored Erie First 17-7 in the second quarter giving them some breathing room the rest of the way.

Malik Miller led the way for the Steelers with 19 points. He is now just 3 points shy of becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Two other Steelers scored in double-figures led by Terrance Holloway with 15 and Leon Lewis with 10.

Farrell moves on to play Kennedy Catholic in the D10 Class “A” title game Friday night at Slippery Rock University at 7 PM.
