Kennedy Catholic routs Rocky Grove

Kennedy Catholic had four players score in double-figures on their way to a rout of Rocky Grove.

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA (WKBN)-Kennedy Catholic is on to the District 10 title game after the Golden Eagles routed Rocky Grove 81-46 Tuesday night.

It was a tight game after one-quarter as the Orioles played KC close, trailing by just one point after the first quarter.

But Kennedy outscored RG 30-11 in the second quarter, paving their way to the big win.

The Golden Eagles had four players in double-figures led by senior Drew Magestro who had 22, while Maceo Austin had 16, Jason Austin with 15 points while Sagaba Konate had 13.

Kennedy (22-2) will play Farrell on Friday in the District 10 Class “A” title game at Slippery Rock at 7 PM. It’s the 7th time the schools have met in just over a year.
