BROOKFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The man arrested Monday in connection with a shooting that injured a woman in Masury faced a judge Tuesday for his arraignment.
Police have charged Marvin Jules with felonious assault, and he remains in the Trumbull County Jail.
He appeared via a video link for his arraignment, where Judge Robert Platt entered a not guilty plea for him.
Marvin did not say much as he held his head down, appearing on the TV screen. Judge Platt did not give Jules the possibility of going free on bond after considering him a flight risk.
Monday, Jules called 911 and told dispatchers he shot his girlfriend because he was jealous.
After that call, police came and arrested him. Jules’ preliminary hearing will be this Thursday.
