Liberty Police arrested Martika Rodriguez in Youngstown for a stabbing on February 7th.

LIBERTY TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Liberty Police arrested a woman on Wednesday for a stabbing incident in Liberty Township.

Martika Rodriguez, 24, was taken into custody and transported to Trumbull County Jail after police say she assaulted a woman on February 7.

According to a police report, Rodriguez arrived at the woman’s home with two unknown males. Police say she had been living with the woman in the house on Smithsonian Avenue.

Rodriguez and the woman started arguing and it escalated into a physical altercation, according to police. The report claims that one of the men hit the woman in the face.

Police say Rodriguez stabbed the woman in the head and face with a sharp instrument before leaving with the two men.

Rodriguez was arrested in Youngstown on a felonious assault warrant.
