BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – The final Republican debate before Super Tuesday was held in Houston on Thursday night/
The Mahoning County Republican Party hosted a debate viewing event at its headquarters. About 20 party faithfuls were in Boardman looking for more details from the five remaining candidates.
While Donald Trump has won three primaries at this point and remains the front-runner, party Chair Mark Munroe said Super Tuesday could be big step for him.
“If Donald Trump runs the table during Super Tuesday, it’s going to be tough to stop him,” Munroe said.
Munroe said with Ohio, Michigan, Florida and Texas still in play after Super Tuesday, the other candidates still have a chance. He added that anything can happen between now and convention time in July.
