Farrell’s McCoy heading to Clarion

McCoy becomes is now the fourth Steeler to sign to play in the college ranks.

FARRELL, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Farrell’s Marcus McCoy has signed to continues his football career in the college ranks at Clarion University.

He joins teammate Angelo Jackson at Clarion along with current Golden Eagles and Farrell graduates Tyrone Archie and DeWayne Burns with the Golden Eagles.

This past season, McCoy racked up 29 receptions for 656 yards and 7 touchdowns.  That includes the game-winning 76-yard touchdown in the state semifinals.

For his career, McCoy finished with 41 receptions, 890 yards, 11 touchdowns.

Defensively, McCoy amassed 105 total tackles (50 solos), with  8 pass deflections, and two interceptions.

McCoy becomes is now the fourth Steeler to sign to play in the college ranks.
