COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN/AP) – The Kasich campaign will join former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for a “Battleground Ohio Campaign Kickoff” rally in Columbus.

The event will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The event will be open to the public.

Kasich tweeted about the event:

The doors open at 2 p.m.

You can learn more about the event at the campaign website.

Kasich has been campaigning in Michigan this week and says he will not get out of the race and has repeatedly said he is confident he will win his home state.

The dwindling Republican presidential field meets tonight for another debate. Gov. John Kasich is among the four candidates still in the race who will be part of the forum in Detroit held by Fox News.

One of the moderators will be Megyn Kelly, who says she doesn’t expect a renewal of her public feud with front-runner Donald Trump.
